Hi. My name is Summer. I’m 23 years old. I’m from Brighton and currently work as a receptionist at a global security company. My dream is to be a writer in the media but right now I’m happy to just enjoy the journey life is taking me on.
I spend a lot of time with my family and I’m honestly most content when I’m with them or just chilling out on my own. I also have some incredible friends who I see occasionally when our schedules allow it – and of course much of that time is spent eating out and drinking cocktails.
This blog is about literally anything. I’m inspired by passing thoughts, conversations, observations and life experiences in general. I love learning about myself and trying to understand how other people’s minds work – and writing is my way of doing this.
I’m a bit of an open book which can make others uncomfortable at times, but I personally find sharing things therapeutic (I’m a Cancer if that means anything), so that is what you’ll find in this blog.
I have felt alone many times in my life and I hope that by sharing some of my most personal experiences, I can help at least one of you feel more ‘normal’.
And if all else fails – at least you’ll be entertained.
